St. Patrick's Day

    Commandery No. 382 participated in the United Irish American Association and City of Buffalo, St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday, Marc18th, 2012. Commandery No. 382 organized a Color Guard Commanded by CSgt. Andrew Kozak, a marching unit Commanded by Capt. James Gibbons and a float built by BK Paul Gilmour and BK Chris Rusin.  The float consisted of a mock up of McCarthy's Tavern, Grain Mills, Cotter Fire Boat, and Train Engine (that blew smoke).  Before the parade, Commandery No. 382 provided a processional honor guard for Bishop Edward Kmiec during the 10:30am Grand Marshall's Parade Mass.  Following the Mass the Commandery was treated to an audience with Bishop Kmiec.  After Mass Knights adjourned to Marriotts Tavern for fellowship and pre staging of pick up vehicles.  Following the parade Knights enjoyed more fellowship at the North Tavern in the Lenox Hotel.
