Ritual

    During the Bi-Annual meeting of the 2nd Regiment, Order of Chevaliers, Chapter No. 2 in April 2011 the Buffalo Grand Commandery President was advised by President, Capt. James Gibbons that Commandery No. 382 has procured all the necessary logistics to facilitate an KStJI, Order of Chevaliers, 4th Degree Ritual Exemplification. The facilities to conduct the 4th Degree Ritual have been reserved for May 18-20,2012. Capt. Gibbons is pleased to announce that the Buffalo Grand Commandery President, BGen. Donald Kirsch has authorized a KStJI, 4th Degree Ritual for May 19th, 2012. Commandery No. 382 will host the ritual at Queen of Heaven RCC in West Seneca, NY. All Order of Chevalier Knights of the 2nd Regiment are requested by the President to make themselves available to assist with the exemplification of this ritual. The Buffalo Grand Commandery will be communicating this event to all 2nd Regiment Local Commanderies, the Supreme Commandery and all Grand Commanderies. All Uniformed Knights requiring the 4th Degree Exemplification may participate.

2nd & 3rd Degree Exemplification
Ritual

    The Buffalo  Grand Commandery Ritual Committee under the direction of BGen Donald Kirsch will be conducting a Knights of St. John International, 2nd & 3rd Degree Exemplification Ritual on Sunday, Dec. 11th, 2011 2pm-4pm at Our Mother of Good Counsel in Blasdell, NY.  Additional information will be sent to the Commanderies' Secretaries.  Any Knight Uniformed and Non-Uniformed having received the 1st Degree Exemplification is eligible for this 2nd & 3rd Degree Exemplification Ritual.

5th Degree Exemplification

    The Buffalo Grand Commandery President, BGen. Donald P. Kirsch conducted a 5th Degree Exemplification on May 1st, 2010 at St. Joseph's Cathedral with Bishop Edward Kmiec as prelate.  The Buffalo Grand Commandery was joined by several Knights from other Grand Commanderies throughout the east coast.  The Exemplification was followed with a reception in the Hyatt Regency.    
    Commandery No. 382 wishes to congratulate its following Knights for being intiated into the Buffalo Temple of the Noble and Exalted Degree of the Holy Cross.

    The Baltimore / Washington Grand Commandery conducted a 5th Degree Exemplification on November 20, 2010 at 11:00am at the Immaculate Conception RCC, 28297 Old Forge Road, Mechanicsville, Maryland.  The Most Reverend Leonard J. Olivier, SVD, Retired Auxilliary Bishop of Washington acted as the Prelate presenting the accolades of Knighthood to the candidates.  Rev. John Caulfield, Pastor, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church acted as the Bishop's Secretary.  The Baltimore / Washington Grand Commandery Degree Team cosisted of BGen. Thomas Dotson, Grand Master, BGen. Robert Brown Sr., Noble Lector, Col. Ronald Taylor, Noble Esquire, Col. John Friday, Escort and Col. Martin Bella, Escort.  The following Commandery No. 382 and Commandery No. 710 Knights were exemplified into the Temple of the Noble and Exalted Degree of the Holy Cross.
