    Commandery No. 382 is proud to be the Charter Organization for Venture Crew 416, Boy Scout Troop 416 and Cub Scout Pack 416.  The Commandery truly believes in the foundation of the Boys Scouts of America Programs to assist in building a young man or women's character guided by the need for reverence.

    The Buffalo Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting held their 36th Annual Religious Awards Ceremony on Saturday, March 27th, 2010 at St. Joseph's Cathedral with Bishop Edward Groz as celebrant.  Commandery No. 382 wishes to congratulate the young men of Boys Scout Troop 416 and the adult leaders of Boy Scout Troop 416 and Venture Crew 416. 

Ad Altare Dei

    The Ad Altare Dei program assists Catholic youth members of the Boy Scouts of America to develop a fully Christian way of life in a faith community by studying the seven sacraments.  The following are Queen of Heaven Boy Scouts Troop 416's award recipients:

National Catholic Quality Unit - Pope Paul VI Award

    The National Catholic Quality Unit Pope Paul VI Award is presented to Packs, Troops or Crews chartered to Catholic parishes, schools or organizations that promote Catholic Scouting through religious emblems programs, unit service and vocation awareness.  Commandery No. 382 wishes to congratulate the young men and adult leaders of Boys Scout Troop 416 for their hard work in organizing and conduting the 2009 10 Commandmants Hike and 2009 Religious Emblems Retreat.

National Award for Excellence

    The National Catholic Committee on Scouting established the Awrd for Excellence to recognize the activities Diocesan Catholic Committees plan and execute that further "Duty to God" to Scouting units within their Diocese.  Commandery No. 382 congratulates Venture Crew 416 for organizing and conducting the Religious Emblems Retreat in Oct. 2009.  Special thanks and kudos to Stephanie Wright adn Richard Rayer, Co-Crew Advisors.
