Commandery No. 382 presents the following awards to Commandery No. 382 Knights and exceptional representatives of our Parish community.  

Knights of St. John
International
"Jewel of Honor"

    The Knights of St. John International, "Jewel of Honor" is the highest personal award a Knight can be awarded.  Knights must meet certain requirments as stated in the Constitution of the Knights of St. John International to be nominated for the award.  A Knight is nominated by his Local Commandery with approval of the award being granted by the Supreme President.

"Knight of Distinction"

     Each year Commandery No. 382's Civil Order Board of Directors and Military Order Officers will convene a "Awards Committee" to nominate a Commandery No. 382 Knight as the previous year's "Knight of Distinction".  The Committee nominates a Knight that through their personal actions has professed the virtues of Roman Catholism (FAITH, HOPE & CHARITY) and the principles of the Order.

"Christian Spirit Award"

    Commandery No. 382 with the assistance of Principal Barbara Ryan of the Queen of Heaven School awards each year to a graduating 8th grade student the Commandery's "Christian Spirit Award".  The "Christian Spirit Award" is presented to a 8th grade student who not only maintains scholastic excellence but in their daily life professes the virtues of Roman Catholism: "FAITH, HOPE and CHARITY".
