Commandery No. 382's Military Order conducted an "Armor of God" Blessing and Investiture Ceremony on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011 at Queen of Heaven RCC.  Prior to the ceremony the Knight Candidates received a presentation from 2ndLt. Binder that focused on the scriptural and historical significance of the "Armor of God" as pertaining to our Roman Catholic Faith.  Following the presentation candidates joined the celebrant, Rev. Quinlivan, Military Officers and Guards in the liturgical processional into Queen of Heaven RCC.  During the ceremony Rev. Quinlinvan blessed the Knight Candidates' Military Uniform Equipment to include the Commandery's new indoor Colors.  Following the Blessing, the Knight Candidates received a further explanation of the "Armor of God" and were then invested with their "Armor".  After the completion of the ceremony Rev. Quinlivan led the congregation in Adoration of the Blessed Eucharist.  The Ceremony concluded with Benediction.  

    The Commandery wishes to thank Queen of Heaven RCC, Music Director Kevin Capanyola, Cheryl Clifford and Debbie Binder for providing the beautiful music during the ceremony.  The congregation was treated to the Knight of St. John International's "Opening Ode", "O' Salutaris Hostia", "Tantum Ergo" and "Now Thank We All Our God".

Vincent Binder for their exemplary efforts in  re-developing the Knights of St. John International Investiture Ceremony that was previously utilized.
